FAQ
We do! We offer a FREE 30 minutes consultation if it’s your first time talking to us. We understand it’s important to try us out first. Subsequent consultations are paid only and billed at $150.00 per 30 minutes (rounded up).
All consultations require the completion of our SIMPLE & SHORT intake forms, so we can better help you. Please complete the intake forms HERE.
If you are looking for general legal information, please take advantage of our free blogs & talks. Consultations are meant to offer you specific information that is suitable for your situation, and we can’t give you those information unless we know some details. As stated on all intake forms, all information are kept strictly confidential, regardless of whether you decide to hire Varity Law.
The intake form also help us give you a precise quote and stick to the quote as much as possible. Whether it’s real estate or immigration, the devil lies in the details. A different purchase price will result in a different land transfer tax amount. One detail in your immigration situation means immigration path A is much more suitable than immigration path B, each with different prices.
When we offer fixed fee structures, we shift the risk from you to us – you now have predictability in fees but we are stuck with the quoted fee even if your legal situation ends up being more complicated and requiring more hours. Thus, we can only offer you a quote once we understand your specific legal situation and that’d also enable us to stick closer to the quoted fee.
No, we don’t offer walk in services. The staffs at Varity Law have a jam-packed schedule and our staffs are often in meetings with other clients regarding their pressing matters. All consultations & meetings are by appointment only, click HERE to book a paid consultation today or to get a quote for free.
The staffs at Varity Law treasure both their career and family, and as a rule of thumb we don’t open on weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays. Our normal work hours are Mondays-Fridays, 9 am to 5 pm. However, if your situation is truly dire, an exception may be made for you on a case-by-case basis.
